SİSPLATİN TOKSİSİTESİ: OKSİDATİF STRESİN ÖNEMİ VE ANTİOKSİDANLARIN ETKİSİ

Abstract

Sisplatin (CP) çeşitli kanserlerin tedavisinde yaygın olarak kullanılan kematerapötik ajanlardan biridir, ancak, nefrotoksisisite, hepatotoksisite, ototoksisite gibi çeşitli kullanımını kısıtlayan yan etkilere sahiptir. Bazı çalışmalar, CP uygulaması ile serbest radikal oluşumunun ve dolayısıyla oksidatif hasarın arttığını göstermiştir. Bu bulgular, oksidatif stresin CP toksisitesinde önemli bir rol oynadığına işaret etmektedir. Diğer yandan, birçok çalışma antioksidan ajanların CP toksisitesini önlenebileceğini göstermiştir. Bu derlemede, CP toksisitesinde oksidatif stresin önemi ve antioksidanlar ile CP toksisitesinin önlenmesi ile ilgili çalışmalara yer verilmiştir.
