VOLTAGE-MODE SITO MULTIFUNCTION FILTER USING ONLY TWO FTFNS
Abstract
In this paper we present a new voltage-mode (VM) multifunction filter configuration using only two
four terminal floating nullors (FTFNs) and five passive elements. The circuit with a single input and
three outputs can simultaneously realise lowpass (LP), bandpass (BP) and highpass (HP) filter
responses. The natural frequency (ω0 ) and the bandwidth (ω /Q 0 ) can be orthogonally controlled.
The passband gains of two filtering responses can be tuned independently. The active and passive
sensitivities are low. Simulated results are included to verify the theoretical analysis.
