Abstract

Trakya'dan toplanan orneklerle Ckelia?ztlzes marantliae (L.) Domin, Trakya florasina ilave edilmigtir. Aynca Edirne ili gevresinden kayrtlr olrnayan Asplerriunr septentrionale (L.) Hoffm. subsp. septentrionale; A. trichomanes L. sens. lat.; A. ruts-muraria L. subsp. ruta-muraria, A. ceteraclz L. subsp. ceterach and Cystopterisfi-agilis (L.) Bernh. bu gahgmada verilen orneliler ile Edirne il sinulan igindeki bolgeden ilk kez kaydedilmektedir.

A CONTRPBUTION TO THE: FERN FLORA OF EUROPEAN TURKEY*

Abstract

Che1ia;ztlzes mararzthae (L.) Domin is added to the flora of European Turkey with the specimens collected £rom Edirne. The following taxa have been also recorded for the fust time from Edirne provQce with the specimens cited in this paper: Asple~zizinz septe~ztrionale (L.) Hoffm. subsp. septentrionale; A. trichomanes L. sens. lat.; A. rutamuraria L. subsp. ruta-niuraria, A. ceteraclz L. subsp. ceteraclz and Cystoptens fragilis (L.) Bernh. The account of the taxonomy and distribution of Turkish Pteridophytes was published in Flora of Turkey (1). Subsequent to the publication of vol. 1 of P. H. Davis's (I), notable revisions on Turkish ferns were published by Demiriz et al. (2, 3) based mainly specimens housed in Turkish herbaria. As the result of the revisions 115 new records for specific square and 181 new records for vilayets have been reported. In 1980, Parris and Frazer-Jenkins (4) published "A provisional checklist of Turkish Pteridophyta" and reported some more new distributional records.
