ÇALIŞMA HAYATINDA İŞYERİ KABALIĞI OLGUSU

Abstract

Kurumlarda, bireylerin karşılıklı saygı çerçevesinde davranmalarını sağlayan
sosyal ve kurumsal normlara aykırı davranışlar, işyeri kabalığı olarak
tanımlanmaktadır. "Günaydın" veya "iyi günler" dememe, teşekkür etmeme,
karşısındakinin sözünü kesme, azarlama, yüksek sesle konuşma, özel hayata
müdahale, vb. bir takım davranışları bu kavram çerçevesinde değerlendirebiliriz.
Günümüz çalışma hayatında pek çok etken dolayısıyla giderek yaygınlaşan bu
olgu, çalışanlar ve kurum açısından oldukça olumsuz sonuçlar doğurmaktadır. En
önemli tehlike ise, yönetimin yaşanan bu örgütsel sapmayı görmezden gelmesi
veya önemsememesidir. Bu durumda iki veya daha fazla kişi arasında gelişen
olgu, tüm kuruma yayılabilmekte ve bir süre sonra kurum kültürünün bir parçası
haline gelebilmektedir.
