Paraneoplastic rheumatologic syndromes associated with non-small cell lung cancer: case report and review of paraneoplastic rheumatologic syndromes

Abstract

Paraneoplastic rheumatic syndromes are usually detected before or at the time of diagnosis of the underlying malign disease, occasionally is manifested years later. In this case report, we present a case of paraneoplastic rheumatic syndrome symptoms were developed eight months after the diagnosis of squamous cell lung cancer and also a review of the rheumatic syndromes related with malign diseases.

Küçük hücreli dışı akciğer kanseri ile ilişkili paraneoplastik romatolojik sendrom: Olgu sunumu ve paraneoplastik romatolojik sendromlara bir bakış

Abstract

Paraneoplastik romatolojik sendromlar, genellikle altta yatan malign hastalığın tanısından önce ya da onunla eş zamanlı olarak saptanır. Nadiren tanıdan yıllar sonra da karşımıza çıkabilmektedirler. Bu yazıda, yassı epitel hücreli akciğer kanseri tanısı konulduktan 8 ay sonra paraneoplastik romatolojik sendrom bulguları gelişen olgu ve bu olgu ile malign hastalıklara bağlı romatolojik sendromların genel bir değerlendirmesi yapıldı.
