Duygusal Güvenlik Ölçeği (DGÖ): Üniversite Öğrencilerinde Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Davies, Forman, Rasi ve Stevens tarafından (2002) geliştirilmiş olan Duygusal Güvenlik Ölçeği’nin (DGÖ), üniversite öğrencileri için geçerlik ve güve- nirliğini yapmaktır. Araştırmaya 370 üniversite öğrencisi katılmıştır. Öğrenciler DGÖ ve Çocukların Evlilik Çatışmasını Algısı Ölçeği’ni sınıf ortamında tamamlamışlardır. Faktör analizi sonucunda, özgün ölçeğe oldukça benzeyen ve teoriyle de tutarlı olan altı faktör elde edilmiştir. Alt ölçeklerin Cronbach Alfa güvenirlik katsayıları .68-.88 değerinde bu- lunmuştur. Sonuçlar ışığında, DGÖ’nin üniversite öğrencileri için kullanılabilecek geçerli ve güvenilir bir ölçek olduğu düşünülmektedir.

Emotional Security Scale (ESS): A Validity and Reliability Study in University Students

Abstract

The aim of this study was to test the validity and reliability of Emotional Security Scale (ESS) which is developed by Davies, Forman, Rasi ve Stevens (2002) in university students. The research was conducted on 370 university students. The participants completed the ESS and Children’s Appraisals of Marital Conflict in classroom situation. The factor analysis resulted in six factors that is very similar to the original scale and consistent with theory. Cronbach’s alpha values of subscales were found between .68-.88. These results suggest that Emotional Security Scale is a valid and reliable instrument for university students.
