Studies in Psychology – Psikoloji Çalışmaları is a peer-reviewed, open-access, international scholarly journal published triennially in April, August, and December. It has been an official publication of Istanbul University, Faculty of Letters, Department of Psychology since 1956. The journal publishes manuscripts in both English and Turkish.
Studies in Psychology primarily publishes high-quality qualitative and/or quantitative empirical research articles across all subfields of psychology. In addition, it welcomes theoretical, methodological, and review articles that contribute to the advancement of psychological science. The journal explicitly encourages interdisciplinary research that integrates psychology with related disciplines such as sociology, psychiatry, geriatrics, education, business, occupational health, communication studies, and political science.
The journal’s target audience includes academics, researchers, practitioners, and graduate students, as well as relevant professional and academic institutions and organizations. Through its broad scope, rigorous peer-review process, and open-access policy, Studies in Psychology aims to promote the international dissemination and impact of psychological research.
