BİR KÖPEKTE RASTLANAN ÖSEFAGUS OBSTRUKSİYONU VE POSTOPERATİF STENOZ OLGUSU

Özet
Bu çalışmada iki yaşlı erkek melez bir köpekte kemik yutulmasına bağlı olarak ösefagusun torakal bölümünde gelişen obsturuksiyonun operatif sağaltımı ve post operatif dönemde oluşan stenoz olgusu konu edilmiştir. Torakal ösefagotomi ile kemik çıkartıldıktan sonra gelişen stenoz, kas gevşetici bir ajanın (diazepam) düzenli kullanımı ve özel bir sonda uygulamasıyla konservatif olarak sağaltılıp, hayvan sağlığına kavuşturulmuştur.

AN OSEFAGUS OBSTRUCTION AND POSTOPERATIVE STENOSIS CASE IN A DOG
Abstract
In this study, the surgical treatment of an obstruction in the thoracal region of the oesophagus, due to the swallowing of a bone, in a 2-year-old mixed breed dog and the stenosis developing in the post-operative period have been discussed. The stenosis, which developed following removal of the bone via thoracal oesophagotomy, was treated conservatively with the regular use of a muscle relaxing agent (diazepam) and application of a special catheter, after which the animal was restored to good heath.
