Kanatlı Hayvanların Yeni Bir Patojeni: Helicobacter pullorum

Year 2012, Volume: 38 Issue: 2, 197 - 205, 15.11.2012

Abstract

ABSTRACT

A NEW PATHOGEN IN POULTRY: HELICOBACTER PULLORUM

Enterohepatic Helicobacter species, including H. pullorum, are increasingly recognized as microbial pathogens for the poultry industry. Also, H. pullorum has been high probability of being zoonotic food-borne pathogen and with relations of gastroenteritis, the liver and gall bladder disease in humans, isolation of the agent which cases with severe diarrhea increased the value of the agent. In this review, H. pullorum's etiology, epizootiology, diagnosis and significance are discussed.

Key Words: Helicobacter spp., chicken, human, intestine
