TOPRAK SOLUCANLARININ ÇEVRE TOKSİKOLOJİSİ YÖNÜNDEN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Year 2006, Volume: 32 Issue: 3, 75 - 79, 21.12.2012

Abstract

THE ECOTOXICOLOGICAL ASSESMENT OF EARTHWORMS

ABSTRACT

Earthworms are used for control of environmental pollution as a indicator organisms. Also they are keystone soil organism in regulating nutrient cycling. One of the other important role in soil ecosystems, they contribute to organic matter incorporation and decomposition. Soil organic matter has a source of energy for soil microflora and supports formation of soil structure.

Key Words: Earthworm, ecotoxicity, contaminant, microorganism.
