The Relationship Between Digital Transformation and Supply Chain Management: A Research Study

Year 2025, Volume: 16 Issue: 2, 84 - 103, 31.12.2025

Abstract

This study examines the relationship between digital transformation and supply chain management from both theoretical and practical perspectives. In today’s rapidly evolving technological environment, the study explores how innovative digital technologies - such as artificial intelligence, big data analytics, Industry 4.0 components, and digital supply networks - are transforming supply chain processes. The study discusses the strategic dilemmas faced by businesses during digitalization and the competency requirements in organizing supply chain management in this context. In the empirical part of the research, data obtained from companies operating in specific sectors are analyzed to reveal (measure) the relationship between the technologies used in digital transformation and the supply chain management departments of these companies. The findings indicate that digital transformation enhances supply chain visibility, flexibility, and operational efficiency. The study concludes by emphasizing that digital transformation is not only a technological change but also a strategic and organizational transformation.

Dijital dönüşüm ve tedarik zinciri yönetimi ilişkisi: Bir araştırma

Year 2025, Volume: 16 Issue: 2, 84 - 103, 31.12.2025
