DUANE RETRAKSİYON SENDROMUNDA KLİNİK BULGULAR VE CERRAHİ SONUÇLARIMIZ

Öz

Duane retraksiyon sendromlu 32 hasta retrospektif olarak değerlendirilerek oftalmolojik bulguları ve cerrahi sonuçları kaydedildi. Çalışma grubunda 25 kadın ve 7 erkek vardı. Olguların ortalama yaşı 13.7 idi.Olguların %87.5’i unilateral olup, sıklıkla sol göz tutulmuştu.Vakaların %93.7’si tip 1, %6.2’si tip 2 idi. Özellikle primer pozisyonda esotropyaları mevcuttu %40.6 . Hastaların %46.8’inde hipermetropi, %21.8’inde anisometropi ve %34.3’ünde ambliyopi tespit edildi. Sekiz vakaya tek taraflı horizontal rektus adale geriletmesi yapıldı. CLINICAL FINDINGS AND RESULTS OF SURGERY IN DUANE RETRACTION SYNDROME

Abstract

Thirty-two patients with Duane’s retraction syndrome have been evaluated retrospectively and ophthalmologic findings and results of surgery were recorded. There were 25 females and 7 males in the study group. The average age of cases were 13.7 years. 87.5% of the cases were unilateral and left eyes frequently affected. 93.7% of the cases were type 1,and 6.2% were type 2. 40.6% of patients have esotropia in primary position. Hypermetropia was present in 46.8% of patients, 21.8% anisometropia and 34.3% ambliyopia were detected. Eight of the patients were treated with unilateral horizontal rectus muscle recession.
