Öz

Ranula ağız tabanının ön bölümünde yer alan, sublingual glanddan köken almış mukus ekstravazasyon kistidir. Tedavisinde marsupiyalizasyon, sublingual bezin parsiyel ya da total eksizyonları, kriyocerrahi gibi birçok teknik bildirilmiştir. Yazımızda ağız tabanında yer alan ve dev boyutlara ulaşan bir ranula olgusunu sunduk. Kitleyle beraber sublingual bezin total eksizyonunun en uygun tedavi yaklaşımı olduğunu düşünmekteyiz

GIANT RANULA

Abstract

A ranula is a mucous extravasation cyst originate from the sublingual gland and located in the anterior floor of the mouth. Various surgical techniques such as marsupialization, partial or total excision of the gland and cryosurgery have been proposed for the treatment. In this paper, we represent a patient with giant ranula in the floor of the mouth. We think that total excision of the sublingual gland with the ranula is the most appropriate way for the treatment
