ATEROSKLEROTİK SÜREÇTE OBEZİTE İLE ORTALAMA TROMBOSİT HACMİ YÜKSEKLİĞİ İLİŞKİSİNİN DEĞERLENDİRİLMESİ

Öz

Obezite aterosklerotik hastalıklarla yakından ilişkilidir. Ortalama Trombosit Hacmi MPV aterosklerozisi ilgilendiren hastalıklardaki platelet aktivasyonunun bir göstergesidir. Çalışmamızın amacı obezite ve MPV değerlerini korale etmektir. Çünkü obezite aterosklerotik hastalık riskini, morbidite ve mortaliteyi artırmasıyla yakından ilişkilidir. Çalışmamızda obez olgularımızın MPV değerleri; normal-hafif yüksek ağırlıklı olgularımızınkinden yüksek bulunmuştur. İki grup arasında yaş, cinsiyet, kan basınç değerleri, lipid düzeyleri arasında anlamlı bir fark bulunamamıştır

EVALUATION OF THE RELATIONSHIP BETWEEN OBESITY AND MEAN PLATELET VOLUME IN THE ATHEROSCLEROTIC PROCESS

Abstract

The obesity is closely associated with atheroscleric disorders. Mean platelet volume MPV is an indicator of platelet activation which also shows a close relationship with atherosclerotic disorders. The aim of this study was to investigate the corraletes obesity and MPV values. Because obesity is associated with a significant increase mortality and morbidity and risk of atherosclerotic disorders. In this research, aim is to determine the relationship between MPV and atherosclerosis in presence of obesity. When we compare the mean platelet volume values of obese patients and the patients with mild high-normal weight, it's seen that MPV of obese ones is greater. Average age, sex, lipid levels sistolic and diastolic blood pressure difference between these two groups are not statistically meaningfull
