TEK TARAFLI DEV TONSİLLOLİT

Öz

Tonsil taşları, tonsil kriptlerine yerleşen, yapısında kalsifiye organik maddeler ve bakteri barındıran oluşumlardır. Çoğu zaman asemptomatik olsalarda, boyutlarına ve yerleşim yerlerine göre çeşitli semptomlara sebep olabilmektedirler. Tedavisinde genellikle taşın eksizyonu yeterli olabilmektedir. Yazımızda, sağ tonsil lojunda yerleşen ve semptomlara neden olan dev tonsil taşı vakası fotoğraf eşliğinde sunulmuştur

UNILATERAL GIANT TONSILLOLITHIASIS

Abstract

Tonsilloliths contain calsified organic substances usually mixed with bacteria and located on tonsillary cripts. Although they are usually asemptomatic, occasionally they may cause complaints related to their sizes and location. In treatment, it is generally enough to excising the stone.
