ACİL SERVİSTE TÜKENMİŞLİK SENDROMU

Öz

Bu çalışmada hastanemiz acil servis çalışanlarının tükenmişlik düzeylerinin değerlendirilmesi amaçlanmıştır. Bozyaka Eğitim ve Araştırma Hastanesi, Etik Kurul onayı alındıktan sonra, acil serviste çalışanlar araştırmaya alınmıştır. Duygusal tükenmeyi, duyarsızlaşmayı ve kişisel başarıyı araştıran Maslach Tükenme Ölçeği MTÖ ile kişisel özellikler, alışkanlıklar ve çalışma koşullarını araştıran sosyodemografik veri toplama formundan oluşan anket formunun doldurulması sağlandı. Verilerin istatistiksel analizinde SPSS 16.0 paket programı kullanıldı. Araştırmaya katılanların %22.2 n=21 asistan, %3 n=3 uzman, % 17 n=17 sağlık memuru ve acil tıp teknisyeni., % 22 n=21 hemşire, % 22 n=21 personel, %14 n=15 güvenlikti. Ortalama MTÖ-DT puanı 21.27±7.28, MTÖ-D puanı 8.77±4.30, MTÖ-KB puanı 12.00±4.24. Tükenmişlik cinsiyet, sigara ve alkol kullanımı, çocuk sahibi olup olmama ve acil serviste çalışılan yıllarla ilişkisiz iken; medeni durum, meslek grubu, meslek yılı ve nöbet sayısıyla ilişkili saptandı. Çalışma yıllarına göre çalışma yerlerinde düzenleme yapılması, nöbet şartlarının düzeltilmesi, psikolojik destek birimlerinin oluşturulması, tükenme ile baş etme yollarının öğretilmesi gibi önlemlerle tükenmişlik engellenebilir

BURNOUT IN EMERGENCY DEPARTMENT

Abstract

The aim of this study was to assess levels of the burnout syndrome among the emergency medicine workers. After obtaining the approval of the Bozyaka Training and Research Hospital ethics committee, operation room workers were included in this study. Emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personel success were evaluated with Maslach Burnout Inventory MBI . The personal characteristics, habits and working conditions were evaluated with the socio-demographic data collection form. SPSS 16.0 package program was used for statistical analysis of the data. 22.2 % n=21 residents, 3 % n=3 physician, 17 % n=17 health officer, emergency medical technician, 22 % n=21 nurse, 22 % n=21 employee and 14 % n=15 security guard. Mean MTÖ-DT score21.27±7.28, mean MTÖ-D score 8.77±4.30, mean MTÖ-KB score 12.00±4.24. Burnout is not related with sex, smoking and alcohol use, having baby or not; but is related with marital status, job, years in work and number of nights on duty. Regulation of working places according to years at work, improvement of duty conditions,psychological support, teaching the ways of coping with exhaustion would effectively contribute to the prevention of burnout
