MENİNGİOMU TAKLİT EDEN SOLİTER İNTRAMEDÜLLER PLAZMOSİTOM

Öz

Dura ile ilişkisi olan/olmayan intrakranial soliter plazmositom nadir görülen;kafatası, meninksler veya beyin parankimini de etkileyebilen soliter plazma hücre diskrazisidir. Yıllarca herhangi bir sistemik tutulum veya semptom olmadan gelişebilirler. Sık görülmediklerinden, radyolojik olarak diğer hastalıklar ile karıştırılabilirler. Bu lezyonların ayırıcı tanısı histopatolojik çalışmalara dayanır. Bu bildiride radyolojik olarak interosseos menengiom olarak rapor edilen ve bu doğrultuda opere edilip patoloji sonucunda soliterplazmositom saptanan bir olgu sunulmuştur

SOLITER INTRAMEDULLARY PLASMOCYTOMA MIMICKING MENINGIOMA

Abstract

Solitary plasmocytoma, with or without dural involvement, is exceedingly rare. Plasmocytoma is a solitary monoclonal plasma cell tumor that can affect the skull, meninges or brain. They may emerge after years without systemic involvement and symptoms. They may be confused with other tumors as they are not remembered primarily in radiological diagnosis. The definite diagnosis is made upon histopathological examination. In this paper, we discused a patient who underwent surgery with the prediagnosis of interosseous meningioma and histopathologically diagnosed with plasmocytoma
