ÜLKEMİZİN DOĞUSUNDA VAN VE ÇEVRESİNDE HAYVANLARLA İLİŞKİLİ YARALANMALARIN ANALİZİ

Abstract

Ülkemizde kırsal kesimde yaşayan ve özellikle çiftçilikle uğraşanlarda hayvanlarla ilişkili yaralanmalara sıkça rastlanılmaktadır. Bu çalışmada bölgemizde merkez hastanelerden biri olan Yüzüncü Yıl Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Acil Servisine 4.5 yıllık periyotta hayvan travması nedeni ile başvuran 83 olgu geriye dönük olarak incelendi. Olguların % 85.5’i erkek olup, % 55.4 ‘ü 0-16 yaş arasında idi. En sık travmaya yol açan hayvan at % 65.1 , en sık travma mekanizma ise tekmeleme %89.4 idi. Olguların % 63.9 ‘unda maksillofasiyal travma saptandı. Hastaneye yatış oranı % 39.8, mortalite oranı ise % 1.1 idi

THE ANALYSİS OF INJURY OF ANİMALS İN VAN LOCATED İN EAST PART OF OUR COUNTRY AND AROUND THE CİTY

Abstract

The trauma of animals is frequently encountered especially among people living in the countryside and dealing with farming. In this study, 83 cases applied to Yüzüncü Yıl University Medicine Faculty which is one of the central hospitals in our region owing to animal traumatization were analyzed in 4.5 years period retrospectively. 85.5 % of the patients was male and ranged between 0-16 years. The most encountered animal leading to trauma was horse 65.1% and on the other hand, the most frequent trauma mechanism was horse kicking 89.4% . Maxillofacial trauma was established in 63.9% of the patients. The hospitilization rate was 39.8% and mortality rate was 1.1%
