There will be no royalty payment to the authors for published articles.

All submitted papers must not be published, and must not be submitted for publication elsewhere while under consideration by İzmir Journal of Social Sciences must be fulfilled and sent to the editorial board. Also, the author(s) have to obey the ethical rules and if it is needed they have to upload the ethical commission approval document to the system.

• Ethics committee approval must be obtained for studies conducted in all disciplines including social sciences and for studies on clinical and experimental humans and animals requiring ethical committee decisions, this approval must be specified and documented in the article.
• The articles should include the statement that the Research and Publication Ethics are complied with. (After the article is accepted for publication, it will be added in the final editing stage before the publication of the article.)
• In the scientific articles sent, the recommendations of the ICMJE (International Committee of Medical Journal Editors) and the International Standards of the COPE (Committee on Publication Ethics) for Editors and Authors are taken into consideration.
• In studies requiring ethics committee permission, information about the permit (board name, date and number no) should be included in the method section and also on the first/last page of the article. In the case of reports, information about the volunteer informed / consent form being signed should be included in the article. (After the article is accepted for publication, it will be added at the last editing stage before the article is published.)
• Copyright regulations must be followed for the ideas and works of art used.

The papers submitted to or accepted for publication by the “İzmir Journal of Social Sciences” are licensed also by Creative Commons.
