Abstract
In this study; Two photographs selected from his book, which covers the whole art career of Chema Madoz and presents the panorama of its production, which was held in İzmir Folkart Gallery in 2017, were examined scientifically. These two photographs examined were subjected to critical analysis in the context of arrangements and conventions in the theory of meaning defined by Roland Barthes.While performing critical analysis, technical analysis of the photographs was made first, the subject objects were described, then the photographs were interpreted and it was tried to explain how the images turned into a concept and made sense in the intellectual process.
