Aims, Scope, and Audience
Journal of Animal Science and Economics aims to contribute to the literature by publishing manuscripts at the highest scientific level about animal science. The journal publishes research articles, and review articles that are prepared in accordance with ethical guidelines.

The scope of the journal includes but not limited to relevant to the topics of animal breeding and improvement, feeds and animal nutrition, biometrics and genetics, beekeeping, feed technology, feed additives, fishery, animal behaviors, animal welfare, animal and meadow-pasture relationship, organization in animal husbandry, smart agricultural practices in livestock, farm tourism, reproductive biology and control, organic livestock production, animal biotechnology, livestock economy, animal health, and all other related interdisciplinary theoretical research.

The target audience of the journal includes researchers and specialists who are interested or working in all fields in the journal’s scope.


To guarantee that all papers published in the journal are maintained and permanently accessible, articles are stored in Dergipark which serves as a national archival web site and at the same time permits LOCKSS to collect, preserve, and serve the content.
