Are We Really Interconnected? Ecophilosophy and Quantum Theory from a Postmodern Perspective

Year 2002, Issue: 16, 51 - 64, 01.10.2002

Abstract

This paper1 is about the essential need for a new way of thinking about ourselves and the natural environment. I do not need to describe for the reader the enormous problems into which we humans have subjected our environment—depletion of natural resources, pollution, conflict, oppression. Our so-called anthropocentric paradigm has exacted a heavy toll on the environment which may not be sustainable in the near future.
