Shift-working
system is emerged from the increase in passengers on airways, and technological
innovations resulted from global competition. In this study, which is carried
out in Fenemenology pattern; qualitative data collection method was used and
the data were collected by semi-structured interview technique. It was
conducted on 10 employees in a ground handling company located at Antalya Airport.
The aim of this study is to examine the perceptions of employees about shift
work system. As a result of the research; It has been found that employees are
adversely affected by shift work system. In addition, shift work system has
been found to have negative effects on human health both psychologically and
physiologically.
Havayolunu kullanan yolcuların artması ve havacılık
sektöründe küresel rekabetin getirdiği teknolojik yenilikler havacılık
sektöründe vardiya sistemini ortaya çıkarmıştır. Fenemenoloji deseninde
yürütülen bu çalışmada; Antalya Havalimanında yer alan bir yer hizmeti
şirketindeki çalışanların vardiyalı çalışma sistemine ilişkin algıları derinlemesine
incelenmiştir. Nitel analizler sonucunda çalışanların vardiyalı çalışma
sisteminden olumsuz şekilde etkilendiği tespit edilmiş, vardiyalı çalışma
sistemi, hem psikolojik hem de fizyolojik olarak insan sağlığına etki ettiği
saptanmıştır.
