Abstract

Anemi, milimetre küpte hemoglobin konsantrasyonu, hema- tokrit ya da eritrosit sayısının azalması olarak tanımlanır. Anemik hastaya ilk tanısal yaklaşım ayrıntılı öykü, fizik muayene ve birincil basamak testlerini içerir. Periferik kan yayması, direkt Coombs ve retikülosit sayısı testleri, tanıda yardımcı testlerdir

Approach to an Anemic Child

Abstract

Anemia is defined as a reduction in red cell counts, blood hemoglobin concentration or hematocrit per cubic millime- ter. Initial diagnostic approach to the anemic patient inclu- des a detailed history, physical examination and primary laboratory tests. The blood smear, direct Coombs test and reticulocyte counts are very helpful diagnostic tools in anemia
