Konstriktif Perikardit Tanısı Konulan Bir Tüberküloz Vakası

Abstract

Konstriktif perikardit kalınlaşmış, fibrotik perikardın kal- bin diyastolde doluşunu engellemesi sonucu, venöz dönü- şün azaldığı ve kalp debisinin düştüğü klinik bir tablodur. Konstriktif perikarditin gelişmekte olan ülkelerde en sık nedeni tüberküloz infeksiyonudur. Bu makalede öksürük, kilo kaybı yakınmaları ile başvuran, akciğer grafisinde sağ plevral efüzyon, toraks bilgisayarlı tomografisinde BT mediasten ve çevresinde çok sayıda lenfadenopati ve kalp boyutunda artış saptanan, ekokardiyografik incelemesinde konstriktif perikardit tanısı konulan 14 yaşında bir kız vaka sunulmuştur

A Tuberculosis Case Diagnosed As Constrictive Pericarditis

Abstract

Constrictive pericarditis is a process of fibrous thickening of the pericardium, which prevents filling of the heart during diastolic phase, reducing venous return and lowering car- diac output. Tuberculosis infection is the most common cause of constrictive pericarditis in developing countries. In this article, we present a 14 year- old girl, having cough, weight loss symptoms and right sided pleural effusion in chest x-ray, multiple lymphadenopaties in mediastinum, car- diomegaly in chest CT and constrictive pericarditis in echo- cardiography. The case was diagnosed as tuberculosis with pleural effusion and constrictive pericarditis
