Bifid Kosta Anomalisi: Vaka Sunumu

Abstract

Bifid kosta, kostaların anterior bölümünün duplikasyonu ile karakterize bir anatomik varyasyondur. Kostaları ilgi- lendiren sayısal ve yapısal anomaliler tek başlarına izole bir anomali olarak görülebildikleri gibi ender olarak kon- jenital sendromların bir parçası olabilir. Çoğu zaman hafif yakınması veya asemptomatik olup rastlantısal olarak teş- his edilirler. Burada çocuk allerji polikliniğine öksürük yakın- malarla ile başvuran ve çekilen akciğer grafisinde bifid kosta saptanan bir vaka sunulmuştur

Bifid Rib Anomaly: A Case Report

Abstract

Bifid rib is an anatomic variation that is characterized by the duplication of anterior end of the ribs. We can see numerical and structural anomalies of the ribs as isolated anomalies or rarely they can be part of a congenital syndrome. They are often asymptomatic or cause mild symptoms and detected incidentally. In this article a case admitted to the pediatric allergy clinic with complaints of coughing who had bifid rib as shown on lung x-ray ima- ging, is presented.
