Edinsel İnmemiş Testis: Vaka Sunumu

Abstract

İnmemiş testis çocukluk döneminin en sık görülen genital anomalisidir. Doğumsal ve edinsel olarak iki gruba ayrılır. Tanının zamanında konularak uygun tedavinin yapılması kişiyi kısırlık ve kanser gelişimi gibi ileri dönemde ortaya çıkabilecek sorunlardan korur. Bu makalede doğumdan itibaren düzenli olarak izlenen, edinsel inmemiş testisli bir vaka sunularak her yaşta testis muayenesinin önemi vurgu- lanmak istenmiştir

A Case with Acquired Undescended Testis: Case Report

Abstract

Undescended testis is the most common genital anomaly of childhood. It may be congenital or acquired. The rationale for treatment of the undescended testis is the prevention of potential sequelae like testicular neoplasm, subfertility, and others. A case of acquired undescended testis is pre- sented to emphasize the importance of testicular examina- tion during infancy and young childhood
