Neonatal Kolestazın Ender Görülen Bir Nedeni: Tip IVA Koledok Kisti

Abstract

A Rare Cause of Neonatal Cholestasis: Type IVA Choledochal Cyst

Year 2014, Volume: 14 Issue: 1, 32 - 35, 01.01.2014
https://doi.org/10.5222/j.child.2014.032

Abstract

Choledochal cyst is a rare cause of cholestasis characteri- zed by cystic dilatation of extrahepatic and/or intrahepatic bile ducts. Sonographic evaluation of anatomical structu- res in patients with neonatal cholestasis, can detect bile duct abnormalities such as rarely seen choledochal cysts and enable treatment of the disease in the early stages which may prevent the development of serious complicati- ons. In this case report, a patient with Type IVA choledoc- hal cyst according to Todani classification which is a rare cause of neonatal cholestasis is presented
