Effective internal communication and feedback mechanisms are critical for organizational development, enhancing employee engagement, and fostering a healthy corporate culture. However, traditional feedback systems often fail to provide genuine anonymity, which can lead to employees withholding honest opinions due to fear of negative judgment or retaliation. This apprehension stifles candid communication, preventing critical issues from being addressed and hindering organizational growth. To overcome these challenges, ensuring user anonymity is paramount. This study posits that blockchain technology, with its inherent features of decentralization, immutability, and transparency, provides a robust framework for creating secure and trust-based communication systems.
This paper introduces Ghostip, a novel model for a blockchain-based anonymous feedback and communication system designed for internal use within organizations. The proposed model leverages pseudonymous wallets to protect user identities and employs asymmetric encryption to ensure that messages can only be decrypted by the intended recipient. The system supports both direct private messaging and categorized community feedback, with all interactions immutably recorded on the blockchain to guarantee data integrity. By facilitating a secure and truly anonymous channel for expression, this model aims to cultivate a more democratic, transparent, and effective communication environment, ultimately contributing to greater employee satisfaction and organizational health.
