Scope & Submission
EJELL welcomes original research articles, literature reviews, and critical studies in English linguistics, applied linguistics, TEFL/TESOL, English literature, cultural studies, and related interdisciplinary fields.
All submissions must be made electronically through the Dergipark journal submission system. By submitting to EJELL, authors confirm that the manuscript is original, not under consideration elsewhere, and has not been previously published.
Manuscript Preparation & Formatting (Please use the journal format above via the link)
Please prepare your manuscript according to the following specifications before submission:
File Format: Microsoft Word (.doc or .docx)
Language: English
Margins: 2.54 cm on all sides
Font: Times New Roman throughout
Title: 14 pt, Bold, Centered
Author Information: List Name(s) Surname(s) below the title. Include a footnote [1] containing: Academic Title/Rank, Affiliation (if any), Faculty, Department, Email Address, and ORCID iD.
Page Layout:
Page 1 must contain the title, author information, abstract, and keywords.
The main body must begin on Page 2. Do not delete Page 1.
Abstract: 150–250 words. Clear, concise, and unstructured.
Keywords: Maximum of 5, separated by commas.
Spacing & Alignment: Standard academic spacing is recommended. Ensure consistent formatting throughout.
Referencing & Citation Style
All in-text citations and the reference list must strictly follow APA 6th edition.
References must be placed after the main text.
Ensure all cited works appear in the reference list and vice versa.
DOIs should be included where available.

Copyright Ownership: Authors retain full copyright to their published work.
Grant of Rights: By submitting to EJELL, authors grant the journal the non-exclusive right of first publication, along with the right to archive and distribute the final version via Dergipark.
Licensing: EJELL currently operates under traditional copyright and does not apply Creative Commons or other open licenses. Any reproduction, distribution, adaptation, or commercial reuse of published content requires prior written permission from the EJELL Editorial Office. Fair use/dealing provisions under applicable law remain unaffected.
Permissions: Direct all reuse inquiries to the editorial contact below with the article title, DOI/URL, intended use, and format.
Post-Acceptance & Publication
Corresponding authors will receive page proofs for minor typographical corrections only. (Will be sent to the Language Editor for major changes)
Accepted articles are assigned to the next available volume/issue and published online through Dergipark with permanent URLs and indexing metadata.
Authors are encouraged to share the final published link in compliance with the journal’s copyright policy.
