İzole Süperior Mezenter Arter Diseksiyonu: Olgu Sunumu

Abstract

Giriş: Süperior mezenter arter diseksiyonu (SMA) aort diseksiyonunun bir parçası olarak ortaya çıkabildiği gibi nadiren izolede olabilir. Hastalar özellikle yemeklerden sonra başlayan müphem bir karın ağrısı şikayetiyle başvururlar. Olgu Sunumu: Biz bu yazıda fizik muayene ile uyumsuz inatçı karın ağrısı şikayetiyle acil servise başvuran, izole spontan SMA diseksiyonu tanısı konulan ve konservatif olarak tedavi edilen bir olguyu son literatür bilgileri ışığında sunmak istedik. Sonuç: SMA diseksiyonlarında klinik seyir birbirinden farklı olabilir ve sonucunu tahmin etmek zordur. Bu klinik çeşitlilikten ötürü konservatif tedaviden, endovasküler tedaviye ve cerrahi revaskülarizasyona kadar değişen farklı tedavi yaklaşımları mümkündür.

Isolated Dissection of the Superior Mesenteric Artery: Case Report

Abstract

Introduction: The dissection of the superior mesenteric artery (SMA) may occur as a part of aortic dissection or may be rarely isolated. Patients present with vague abdominal pain, particularly beginning after meals.Case Report: In the present report, we want to present a case admitted to the emergency department with an incompatible persistent abdominal pain with physical examination diagnosed, isolated spontaneous SMA dissection and treated conservatively in the light of recent literature.Conclusion: Clinical course in SMA dissection may be different from each other; thus, it is difficult to predict the outcome. Because of this clinical diversity, there are different treatment approaches ranging between conservative treatment, endovascular therapy, and surgical revascularization
