Metabolik Alkalozla Prezente Olan Diyabetik Ketoasidoz

Abstract

Giriş: Diyabet sıklığı ve prevelansı giderek artan bir hastalıktır. Diyabetin kronik ve akut komplikasyonları morbidite, mortalite ve artmış sağlık harcamalarına neden olmaktadır. Diyabetin önemli bir akut komplikasyonu genellikle ciddi organik asidoz ile ortaya çıkan diyabetik ketoasidozdur. Olgu Sunumu: Vakamızda diyabetik alkaloz ile tanı konan bir diyabetik ketoasidoz vakasını sunuyoruz. Sonuç: Biz bu vaka üzerinden, acil şartlarda miks kan gazı bozukluklarının değerlendirilmesine dikkat çekmeyi amaçladık.

Diabetic Ketoacidosis Presenting with Metabolic Alkalosis

Abstract

Introduction: Diabetes is a disease with an increasing incidence and prevalence. Chronic and acute complications of diabetes cause mortality, morbidity, and increased health expenditure. A major acute complication of diabetes usually presenting with serious organic acidosis is diabetic ketoacidosis.Case Report: We report the case of a patient with diabetic ketoacidosis case who presented with diabetic metabolic alkalosis.Conclusion: Through this case, we aimed to draw attention to the assessment of mixed acid–base disturbances in emergency departments
