Abstract

Bilateral talamik klinik olarak ani gelişen bilinç değişikliği, vertikal
bakış paralizileri ve kognitif bozukluklarla kendini gösterirler.
Bu olguları tartışırken amacımız acil servise ani bilinç değişikliği ile
başvuran uyku hali mevcut olup lateralize bulgusu olamayan hastalarda
bilateral talamik infark tanısını akla getirmek ve literatür ışığında
konuyu gözden geçirmektir. Acil servise ani bilinç değişikliği ile
başvuran hastalarda bilateral talamik infark akılda bulundurulmalı ve
erken dönemde tanısı konularak tedaviye başlanmalıdır.

Abstract

Biletaral thalamic infarct clinically shows itself with sudden onset of changes of consciousness, vertical look paralysis and cognitive disorders. While discussing these cases our aim is to be able to diagnose thalamic infarct for the patients applied to Emergency Department (ED) with somnolence and with no lateralized findings and to review the subject under the light of literature.Bilateral thalamic infarct diagnose should be kept in mind for the patients who applied to ED. with sudden onset of change of consciousness and should be diagnosed and therapy should be started early
