Saç Teline Bağlı Gelişen Turnike Sendromu

Year 2012, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 2 - 2, 01.04.2012

Abstract

Saç teline bağlı turnike sendromu, nadir rastlanan ve özellikle
bebeklerde görülen bir klinik tablodur. Klinik olarak ayak, el parmakları,
penis, klitoris, labia, boyun, uvulada olmak üzere farklı
lokalizasyonlarda bulunabilir. Erken tanı konulup tedavi edilmezse
ciddi komplikasyonlara yol açabilir. Tek semptom irritabilite
olabilir. Bu yüzden turnike sendromu bakımından şüpheci olmak
gerekir. Tedavi yaklaşımı sıkışmış saç telinin çıkarılmasıdır. Biz, 4
aylık bir bebekte saç teline bağlı ayak parmağında subtotal amputasyon
oluşan bir vakayı sunmayı amaçladık.

Hair-Thread Tourniquet Syndrome

Year 2012, Volume: 3 Issue: 2, 2 - 2, 01.04.2012

Abstract

Hair thread tourniquet syndrome is rare and usually occurs in very
young patients. The tourniquet syndrome may ocur in different
parts of the body, particularly in toes, fingers, penis, clitoris, labia,
neck and uvula. If the tourniquet not early diagnosed and treated
promtply, serious complications may be occur. Irritability may be
the only presenting symptom; thus, a high index of suspicion is
required. Appropriate treatment is removal of the constricting
fiber. We aimed to present a case of a four month old baby girl
who had subtotal amputation in her toe finger.
