Bio Design Method; Learning Nature In Line With Technology

Abstract

Due to the rapid growth of industrialization, many illnesses were overcome in a short time and led to long-term life to human beings. Despite this, it has caused negative effects on human life as it causes environmental damage and pollution. Human beings have been in close relationship with nature for centuries and inspired by it. Researchers consider nature as a model, interacted with it and sampled it. With this method, the hypothesis of being able to help pave the way for today's problems in the near future was developed. Biodesign is derived from the words life and design. It means application of biological systems and methods in modern technology and designs. Biomimetic is a science that allows designers and engineers to study biological patterns and physiological functions. Owing to this science, new tools and devices were developed structurally and functionally similar to live models. In this paper, other disciplines which are related to nature and nature-human interaction and approaches are examined. Inspiration from nature, imitation of existing phenomena, learning of nature and approaches to the relationship between form, mechanism and function of biological organisms are examined.
