Purpose of the Journal of Energy Recovery and Transfer Processes:
Journal of Energy Recovery and Transfer Processes is a peer-reviewed, open-access, online-only journal published by Atatürk University. The journal is published biannual in both English with articles released in June, and December. It was published its first issue in December 2021 using the Open Journal System (OJS) platform. And then, it took a break from broadcasting in 2022 and 2023 due to being affected by the worldwide Covit Pandemic. In addition, the journal Energy Recovery and Transfer Processes publishes scientifically qualified, original research articles, compilations, and abstracts in English language. Energy Recovery and Transfer Processes journal aims to contribute to knowledge in engineering at national and international levels.
Scope of the Journal:
EKTP journal publishes original research articles, compilations, and summary publications in its field. The papers may based on experimental or theoretical, mathematical or descriptive, chemical or physical studies. The subdomains are listed below:
1- Basic research related to chemical engineering (Thermodynamics, transport phenomena including mass, heat, and momentum transfer, chemical reaction kinetics and engineering, catalysis, separation processes, interphase events, and materials, etc.),
2- Process design and development (synthesis and design methods, System Analysis, Process control, Data correlation diagrams, Modeling, scale-up procedures, etc.)
3- Heat and mass transfer events in flow systems.
4- Microfluidics, flow, heat, and mass transfer events in microchannels.
5- Mass transfer events with chemical reactions (Systems in which electrocatalytic reactions take place).
6- Energy Conversion systems.
7- Energy storage systems (Fuel cells, Li-polymer, Metal hydride, Lead-acid batteries, etc.).
8- Product research and development covering chemical and engineering aspects (Catalysts, plastics, elastomers, fibers, adhesives, coatings, paper, membranes, lubricants, ceramics, aerosols, etc.).
In addition to traditional topics, articles on new areas of science and technology that fit the broad scope and objectives of the journal are also encouraged.
