Journal of Exercise Therapy and Rehabilitation (JETR) dergisinin 2013-2018 yılları arasında bibliyometrik incelemesi: kantitatif analiz

Year 2019, Volume: 6 Issue: 2, 119 - 124, 23.08.2019

Abstract

Amaç:
Analizimizin amacı Journal of Exercise
Therapy and Rehabilitation
(JETR)
dergisinin ilk beş yılındaki içeriğinde; yayın tipleri, yayınların geldikleri
kurumlar, yazar sayıları, yayın dili, kaynak sayıları ve anahtar kelimeleri
incelemekti.

Sorumlu araştırmacıların kurumlarına göre incelendiğinde yayınların sırası ile;
31’i Hacettepe Üniversitesi, 5’i Doğu Akdeniz Üniversitesi ve 5’nin Dokuz Eylül

dergidir.

A bibliometric analysis of the Journal of Exercise Therapy and Rehabilitation between 2013-2018: a quantitative analysis

Year 2019, Volume: 6 Issue: 2, 119 - 124, 23.08.2019

Abstract

Purpose: The aim of our analysis was to determine the first five years of Journal
of Exercise Therapy and Rehabilitation
(JETR); the types of publications, the institutions where the publications
came from, the number of authors, the language of publication, the number of
sources and the keywords.

Methods: The archives and statistics of the DergiPark (TUBITAK-ULAKBIM) and the
journal web page were analyzed quantitatively.

Results: 79 studies were analyzed. The types of researches (according to
their numbers)
published in
the journal are clinical research, descriptive studies and case presentations,
respectively. When examined according to the institutions of corresponding
author; It was determined that 31 of them were sent from Hacettepe University,
5 of them were from Eastern Mediterranean University and 5 of them from Dokuz
Eylül University. The median number of authors per article was 4, 56 of them
were in Turkish (71%), 23 were in English (29%), and median reference of the
publications were 26. The most common keywords in publications were quality of
life, exercise, and cerebral palsy, respectively. There were also eight
supplement issues published in the journal.

Conclusion: Increases were observed in the parameters examined in
our analysis. The number of articles written in English and the validity
research were increased. JETR journal publishing periodically and, which can be
continued in accordance with the quality and standards in Turkey is a ‘new’ and
original journal trying to increase its ‘impact factor’.
