Public Interest in Forestry

Abstract

Sometimes, there could be a conflict on the basis of the demand priorities and benefit among the natural resources that satisfy the human needs directly or indirectly.  It is an inevitable truth that there would be some conflicts between the forest, which holds an important place among the renewable natural resources, and other natural resources. In such case, which natural resources utilization priority is more important for public or which natural resources is more effective to provide public needs has to be determined using appropriate techniques. Time to time, this utilization priority may have negative or positive results on the usage of forest and forest resources. In this article, the relation of forest and forest resources with the other natural resources and emerged public interest in forestry  have been argued within the Turkish Forestry Law.
