This study was planned to examine the effect of a client-centered occupational therapy intervention in a patient with Brugada syndrome. For a client-centered intervention in a 23-year-old male patient diagnosed with Type 1 Brugada Syndrome; assessment and intervention were designed and implemented using the Model of Human Occupation (MOHO). The SF-36 Quality of Life Scale was used to evaluate the quality of life and the Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index was used to evaluate the sleep quality before and after the intervention. The intervention included sleep hygiene training, progressive muscle relaxation techniques, energy conservation techniques, and adaptation to daily life. In the SF-36 Quality of Life Scale, an increase close to the normal value range was observed in all parameters except for the physical function subscale. The Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index decreased from 13 to 8 between baseline and post-intervention. It is thought that positive results can be obtained with client-centered occupational therapy intervention in individuals with cardiac problems such as Brugada syndrome.
