Journal of Hemp Research: An open-access, international, peer-reviewed, free journal covering multidisciplinary studies on hemp and other bast fiber plants. It is supported by the Hemp Research Institute at Ondokuz Mayıs University/Samsun. The journal publishes a wide range of articles, including but not limited to the research topics listed below.

The Journal of Hemp Research welcomes original research articles, brief reports, study protocols, systematic reviews, meta-analyses, and letters to the editor. Submission requests for articles that differ from these classifications will be evaluated in line with the editors' opinions.

The scope of the audience includes a wide range of scientists and experts, from agricultural engineers to clinicians, biological and social scientists to lawyers, economists to business experts, ethicists to public policy experts, and public officials. Our aim is to provide a platform for intra- and interdisciplinary experts in hemp research and to promote innovation and collaboration, thereby shaping the public discourse on this critical issue and advancing the field of research. Our journal's open access policy ensures that trustworthy and reliable information on all aspects of cannabis reaches academic communities and public policymakers around the world quickly and effectively.
