BRADEN ÖLÇEĞİ İLE BASINÇ YARASI RİSKİ BELİRLENEN HASTALARDA RİSK FAKTÖRLERİ İLE BASINÇ YARASI ARASINDAKİ İLİŞKİNİN İNCELENMESİ

Abstract

Amaç: Bu araştırma, yoğun bakım üniteleri ile dahili ve cerrahi servislerde yatan Braden ölçeği ile basınç yarası riski belirlenen hastalarda risk faktörleri ile basınç yarası arasındaki ilişkiyi değerlendirmek amacıyla planlanmış, tanımlayıcı ve ilişki arayıcı tipte bir araştırmadır.
Yöntem: Araştırmanın evrenini, özel bir sağlık grubu hastanesinin yoğun bakım üniteleri ile dahili ve cerrahi servislerine Haziran- Kasım 2009 tarihleri arasında kabul edilen tüm hastalar oluşturmuştur. Örneklemine ise, araştırmanın amacı açıklanarak, bilgilendirme sonrası araştırmaya katılım için izin alınan ve araştırma kriterlerini karşılayan 238 hasta alınmıştır.
Verilerin toplanmasında; Yapılandırılmış Soru Formu ve Braden Basınç Yarası Risk Değerlendirme Ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Veriler, bilgisayar ortamında istatistiki analiz yöntemleri kullanılarak değerlendirilmiştir.
Bulgular: Araştırmanın sonucunda, hastaların yaş ortalamasının 59.5±15.6 yıl, %62.6’sının erkek, %90.4’ünün hareket aktivitesinde bağımlı ve %49.2’sinin pre-obez olduğu saptanmıştır. Çoğunlukla kardiyovasküler cerrahi yoğun bakım ünitesinde (%46.6) kardiyovasküler hastalıkları nedeniyle (%59.4) tedavi gören hastaların ortalama 13.5±10.9 gündür hastanede yattığı belirlenmiştir.
Hastaların yatışlarının beşinci gününde Braden Basınç Yarası Risk Değerlendirme Ölçeği ile tekrar edilen değerlendirmelerinde %70.1’inin yüksek risk grubunda olduğu ve %10.5’inde 1. ve 2. Evrelerde basınç yarası geliştiği saptanmıştır.
Yaş, beden kitle indeksi, cilt tipi, hastanede yatış süresi, cerrahi hastalarında ameliyatın süresi ve hareket aktivitesi ile basınç yarası oluşumu arasında anlamlı ilişki olduğu görülmüştür (p<0.01).
Sonuç: Yaş, beden kitle indeksi, cilt tipi, hastanede yatış süresi, cerrahi hastalarında ameliyatın süresi ve hareket aktivitesi ile basınç yarası oluşumu arasında anlamlı ilişki olduğu görülmüştür.
