COVID-19 VE İŞ YAŞAMINA ETKİLERİ: EVDEN ÇALIŞMA

Abstract

Son yıllarda birçok bilim insanı tarafından araştırma konusu olan Evden Çalışma (Working from Home) kavramı, Covid-19 salgını ile işletmeler için alternatif bir strateji haline gelmiştir. Covid-19 salgını birçok işletmenin çalışma yöntemlerini ve kültürlerini değiştirmesinde etkili olurken, salgının yayılmasını önlemek amacıyla alınan tedbirler kapsamında evden çalışma modeli dünyadaki birçok ülkede geçerli bir çalışma yöntemi olmuştur. Evden çalışmanın istihdam üzerindeki etkisini değerlendirmek için önemli bir nokta, bireylerin evden çalışıp çalışamayacağı konusudur. Bu durum büyük oranda yapılan işin içeriğine bağlıdır. Evden çalışma modeli, halihazırda uygun çalışma imkanlarına sahip işletmelerce etkili bir şekilde uygulanabilir, örneğin bankacılık, sigortacılık, bilgisayar programcılığı, eğitim gibi alanlarda mümkün iken, kişisel yakınlık ve temas gerektiren, birtakım özel ekipmanların kullanılmasını gerektiren veya işgücü ile yapılması zorunlu olan işler için evden çalışma modeli uygulanamamaktadır. Bu çalışmada, Covid-19 salgınının iş yaşamına etkileri açısından evden çalışma modeli değerlendirilmektedir. Evden çalışma modeline uygun yapıdaki işler ve etkileyen faktörler ile çeşitli açılardan avantaj ve dezavantajlarından bahsedilmekte, iş yaşamında etkinliğinin arttırılabilmesi hususunda öneriler verilmektedir.
