Kitap İncelemesi: Dönüşen Savaşların Değişen Araçları, Şirin Duygulu

Abstract

Günümüzde küreselleşen dünya düzeniyle birlikte savaşların da değişerek daha farklı bir sisteme dönüştüğünü söylemek mümkündür. Bu dönüşümün aktörleri, araçları, zaman ve mekân gibi unsurları etkilediği gibi bu unsurların da dönüşümü etkilediği unutulmamalıdır. Bu bağlamda değişen savaşları anlamada aktörler ve vekilleri ile birlikte yeni savaşların savaş araçlarını incelemek de ayrıca önem kazanmıştır. Bahsi geçen dönüşümü anlama ve yorumlama açısından Şirin Duygulu'nun Değişen Savaşların Dönüşen Araçları kitabı literatüre önemli bir katkı sağlamış ve bu kitabın incelenmesi önem kazanmıştır.

Book Review: The Transforming Means of Changing Wars, Şirin Duygulu

Abstract

Warfare has changed and evolved into a different system as the world order has become more globalized. It should not be forgotten that this transformation has an impact on factors such as actors, tools, time, and space, all of which have an impact on the transformation. In this context, it is also critical to examine the new war tools, as well as the actors and their proxies, in order to comprehend the changing wars. In terms of understanding and interpreting the aforementioned transformation, Şirin Duygulu's book, The Transforming Means of Changing Wars, has made an important contribution to the literature, and its examination has grown in importance.
