Abstract
Özet
Üst tam protezlerin tutuculuğunu etkileyen mekanik faktörlerden postdam alanı, protezin bitiş çizgisine göre belirlenir. Bitiş çizgisini belirlemek için ise titreşim çizgisini belirlemek gerekir. Bu araştırmada 99 hastada protezin bitiş çizgisi (titreşim çizgisi) belirlenmiş aynı zamanda fovea'ların titreşim çizgisine uzaklığı, orta hattaki basürılabilirlik ve postdam alanının genişliği klinik verilere dayanarak istatistiksel olarak değerlendirilmiştir.

THE CLINICAL DETERMINATION OF THE FACTORS AFFECTING THE POSTERIOR EXTENSION OF THE DENTURE AND THE POSTDAM AREA AND THEIR STATISTICALLY EVALUATION
Abstract
The postdam area, a mechanical factor affecting the retention of the upper complete denture, is determined according to the posterior extension of the denture. In this study, the posterior extension of the denture was determined in 99 specimens and the distance of the fovea palatinea to the vibrating line, the resilience of the medline and the width oftlie postdam area was statistically evaluated based on Hie clinical findings.
