Abstract

ÖZET

Hareketli parsiyel protezlerde vertikal yönde desteği sağlamak üzere diş üzerinde hazırlanan yuvalara protezlerin bir komponenti olan tırnaklar oturtulmaktadır.

Çalışmamızda üst ve alt çenede tırnak yuvası açılmamış ve açılmış destek dişler protez Öncesi ve sonrası oklü-zal plak skorları, plak total bakteri sayısı, plak ve tükürük mutans streptokok sayısı açısından değerlendirilmiştir.

Hareketli parsiyel protez uygulamasından sonra tüm değerlerde anlamlı bir artış saptanmıştır.

ABSTRACT

Rest are components of removable cost partial dentures that provide, vertical support and occlusal plaque scores, total bacteria counts in plaque and streptoccus mutans counts in plaque and saliva were evaluated.

When rest seats were prepared and were not prepared both at maxillary and mandibular teeth and when dentures used versus no dentures used by patient.

It was concluded that when removable partial dentures were worn significant increase in number of occlusal plaque scores, total bacteria counts in plaque and streptoco-cus mutans counts in plaque and saliva were obtained.
