Abstract

ÖZET

Bu araştırmada yumuşak astar maddesi Molloplast-B'nin akrilik protez kaide materyallerine bağlanma dayanımı Çekme deneyi metodu ile incelenmiştir. Deney örnekleri hazırlanırken Molloplast-B'nin bağladığı Lucitone 199, Paclon ve Melİodent akrilik reçine yüzeyleri polimerize edilmemiş halde ve ayrıca polimerize pürüzlü yüzeyler halinde hazırlanmıştır. Ivocap ve Compressİn'in yüzeyleri ise polimerize edilerek pürüzlendirilmİşlerdir. Bağlanma dayanım ölçümleri Üniversal Instron test cihazında, sabit bir deformasyon hızıyla gerçekleştirilmiştir. En az bağlanma dayanımını 7.61 kg/cm2 ile Lucitone, en fazla bağlanma dayanımını ise 12.91 kg/cm2 ile Meliodent göstermiştir. Sonuç olarak Molloplast-B'nin, kırılma dayanımı yüksek olan akrilikler dışında diğer tür akriliklerle de yeterli bağlanma sağlayabileceği ve polimerize edilmiş akriliklerin pürüzlendirilmesinin bağlanmayı güçlendirdiği saptanmıştır.

ABSTRACT

In this investigation bond strength of Molloplast-B resilient liner to various acrylic resin denture base materials was evaluated by using a tensile bond strength procedure. Lucitone 199, Pacton and Meliodent acrylic resin surfaces were processed as uncured and smooth versus pre-cured and roughened before bonding with Molloplast-B. Ivocap and Compresin resins were pre-cured and roughened prior to bonding. Tensile bond strengths were measured using an Universal Instron testing machine at a constant rate of 2 mmlmin. Lucitone showed the lowest mean bond strength value (7.61 kg/cm2), Meliodent exhibited the highest mean bond strength value (12.91 kg/cm2). It was concluded from this study that sufficient bond strength can be achieved with use of unconventional acrylic resins with resilient liners and the bonding was improved by roughening the pre-cured acrylic resin surfaces.
