Total Protezlerle ilgili olarak ağız mukozasının reaksiyonu ve irritatif lezyonlar

Abstract

ÖZET

Öncelikle ağız mukozasının histolojik ve protetik bakımlardan sınıflandırılması yapılmıştır. Daha sonra protez altındaki dokuların, protetik apareylerin sebeb olduğu aralıklı basınçlara karşı gösterdiği reaksiyon kronolojik bir sırayla ele alınmış ve yapılan araştırmalardan kısaca bahsedilmiştir. En sonunda da total protezlerle ilgili olarak irritatif lezyonların teşhis ve tedavisi açıklanmıştır.

SUMMARY

The understanding of the function and characteristics of the normal palatal mucosa is essential if complete denture treatment is to be successful. In addition, the mucosal changes due to the intermittent pressure by which prosthetic appliances may have upon the supporting tissues must be thoroughly understood. Also, the irritative lesions must be taken into consideration, simply because thay may influence the proper function of dentures.
