ÇOCUK DÎŞHEKÎMLÎĞİNDE STRESİN ÖNEMİ VE RESİM ÇİZDİRİLEREK BELİRLENMESİ

Abstract

ÖZET

Çocuk dişhekimliğinde korku ve stresin önemini vurgulamak amacıyla dişhekimine ilk kez gelen değişik yaşlardaki 25 çocuğa tedavi öncesi ve sonrasında çizdirilen resimler belirli ölçülere göre değerlendirildiler. Araştırmanın so nuçları şu ölçülere göre belirlendi:

a) Kullanılan renk sayısı ve resmin zenginliği

b) Boyutlardaki orantı

c) Konu seçimi

d) Organ eksikliği.

Çocukların tedavi öncesinde kliniğe oldukça yüksek bir korku ve endişe duygusu içinde geldikleri ve korkularının ilk seans sonunda tümüyle ortadan kalkmadığı anlaşıldı.

SUMMARY

In order to emphasize the importance of fear and anxiety in pediatric dentistry, 25 children of varying ages, who were asked to make drawings before and after treatment, and these drawings were evaluated according to spesific criteria. The result of the investigation was determined according to following criteria:

a) number of colors used, and the richness of the picture

b) proportion of size

c) subject preference

o) missing organs.

As a result, it was concluded that, before treatment the children came to the clinic with a high degree of fear and anxiety, and at the end of the first visit they are not completely releaved of their fears.
