Kuron Kenarlarının Dişeti Üzerine Etkileri (*)

Abstract

ÖZET

Yaşları 21 - 70 arasında 104 hasta çalışma için seçildi. Her hasta kuron kenarı dişeti cebi içinde olan bir veya daha fazla altın kuron ile yine aynı çenede karşıt tarafta klinik olarak sağlam, çürük bulgusu olmıyan ve restore edilmemiş kontrol dişlere sahipti. Altın kuronların yaşları 1-17 sene arasında değişmekteydi. Hastanın yaşı, fırçalama sıklığı, kuronun yaşı kaydedilerek kuronlu ve kontrol dişlerin çevresindeki disetleri Löe Gingival îndeksi'ne (G.î) göre değerlendirildi. Periodontal sond ile cep derinlikleri ölçüldü ve dişetlerinden alınan parçalar ışık mikroskobunda incelendi.

1 — Kuronlu dişlerin G.I.'inde 1, 2, 3 değerler, kontrol dişlerin G.I.'inde 1, 2 değerler saptandı.

2 — Kuronlu dişlerin cep derinlikleri 1-3 mm, kontrol dişlerin cep derinlikleri 1-2 mm arasında değişmekteydi.

3 — Kuronlu dişlerin dişetlerinin mikroskobik incelenmesinde iltihabî bulgular görüldü.

SUMMARY

Totally 104 patients between 21 - 70 years of age were selected for this study.

Every patient had one or more gold crowns with margins extented into the gingival sulcus and also clinically sound control teeth without restoration not indicating caries on the opposite side of the same jaw. The ages of the gold crowns varied between 1-17 years. Recording the age of the patient, frequency of brushing, age of the crown, gingival tissues surrounding the control teeth and the teeth with crowns were assessed according to the Löe G.I... Gingival sulcuses were measured with a periodontal probe and the sections obtained from the gingivae were examined under the light microscope.

1 — Values 1, 2, 3 were detected with crowns in the G.I. of the teeth, but values 1, 2 in the G.I. of the control teeth.

2 — The depths of the gingival pockets of the teeth with crowns varied between 1-3 mm. Whereas those of control teeth ranged between 1-2 mm.

3 — Inflamatory findings were observed in the microscopic examination of the gingivae of the teeth with crowns.
