En önemli patojenler tüberküloz etkeni Mycobacterium tuberculosis, uçuk etkeni Herpes simplex virusu, hepatit B etkeni HBV (Hepatit B virusu), AİDS (Edinsel bağışıklık yetmezliği sendromu) etkeni HIV (İnsan bağışıklık yetmezliği virusu)'dur.

The dentists, staff, and patients are at significant risk of being exposed to pathogenic microorganisma as a consequence of dental treatment. The most important pathogens are Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Herpes simplex virus, HBV (Hepatitis B Virus), HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus), which are the agents of tuberculosis, herpes, hepatitis B and AIDS (Human Immuno Deficiency Syndrome).
